Staff were so helpful...kindly upgraded us to a superior suite for the sum of $4 tax extra. The suite was fantastic with everything you could possibly want including a tv in the bathroom. A short walk from central station and not too far from Times Square. We loved this hotel and would use again on our next visit to NY.

I booked a one bedroom suite and was amazed to find our room had views of both the Chrysler Bldg AND the water from the living room windows. The suite itself, was large, modern, well planned and well appointed. The bedroom was quite comfortable, the bathroom was typically small but well designed.

I´ve been in NY more than 10 times... And every single time I stay in a different hotel to get different experiences. This time, although a friend of mine warned me about The Alex Hotel, I did like the site and the price (for the best room available) and I booked. Well, what can I say? It´s a 2 star.
