We stayed in this hotel for one week. Great service, great location. We got a great deal with lots of research. Were upgraded to the 10th floor and bigger room. The drawbacks: loud heat vent, slamming of doors by staff, noises from pipes. The great things: Great staff, modern look, great restaurant, good continental breakfast, close to everything we needed to see.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Morgans Hotel this Christmas and loved it!
On arrival, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room, which was on the 16th floor, was spacious, comfortable and had an amazing view of the Empire State building just a few blocks away. It's location, on 37th and Madison, was very handy for all the sights of Midtown Manhattan but also in walking distance of the southern parts of the city.

Breakfast was served in the adjoining restaurant and was always tasty and plentiful with a variety of bagels, cereals and fruit to choose from.

Our flight home was booked for early evening but there was provision to securely store our luggage after we had checked out. We were also allowed to make use of 'the living room', with its comfy sofas and tea and coffee, whilst we escaped the rain of our final day!

All in all it was a wonderful stay and I would highly reccommend this hotel.

I just spent the weekend at the recently renovated Morgans, and it couldn't have been any better. The rooms are great (as you would expect from a Morgans Hotel Group property), but what really made the stay memorable was how great the staff was. If you are going to New York you will not be able to find a better hotel!

We found this hotel in a hotwire e-mail. the price seemed good and it was reopening after a renovation. It was awful from our room that way too warm at 75, to the elevator smelling like bug spray. The bathrooms do not have a fan or any ventilation. The gym was not open. Even though we were told that breakfast would be open until noon it wasn't. If I could give the property negative points I would.
